Plants grow through sneakers in Monsieur Plant’s botanical sculpture series at « The Village » in Lyon / France.

Christophe Guinet aka Monsieur Plant has transformed iconic Nike sneakers into mini flower gardens featuring beautiful organic combinations of color.
The project, titled Just Grow It!, from last year, is a play on the brand’s iconic slogan “Just Do It,” combining the artist’s love of nature and plants with his fascination with all things urban culture. The main goal was to bridge the gap between consumerism and Mother Nature. With this in mind, Monsieur Plant hopes to prove that nature’s beauty and strength reign supreme in a world filled with industrialization.
The exhibition was organized for the 5th anniversary of « The Village » in Lyon.
